The Way Youth Goal:

Our goal isn't just to provide entertainment. We want students to know Jesus, grow in their faith, build authentic friendships, and learn to live out the Gospel.

Welcome to The Way Youth!

Wednesdays 6:30 - 8:30 pm

At The Way Youth, we believe every student belongs, has a purpose, and has an important place in God’s story.
For students in 6th–12th grade, The Way Youth is a safe, fun, and Christ-centered place where students can be themselves, build meaningful friendships, ask honest questions, and grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Our heart is to come alongside students and families as we help the next generation discover what it means to follow Jesus, live differently, and make a difference. We believe God is doing something incredible in the lives of students, and we can’t wait to see what He does next!
We meet Wednesdays from 6:30–8:30 PM at The Way’s building.
We occasionally have mission nights and fun nights each month that can take place off campus.
Come be part of The Way Youth. There’s a place for you here!

Youth Ministry Director
John Mahaney

John is really excited to be The Way Church’s Youth Ministry Director. John found The Way Church in 2022 and immediately felt he was where he was meant to be. John is very active in the church, specifically in our Children’s and Youth Ministry. John thoroughly enjoys walking along side children and youth to help them know just how much Jesus loves them. He loves being in community with others and lending a hand wherever he is needed.
John graduated college at the University of Missouri- St. Louis with a bachelors degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. John has accomplished a lot in his life but one of his greatest achievements is obtaining  the rank of Eagle Scout.
John is married to his lovely wife, Ashley. Together they have 2 dogs (Cisco and Winston) and 1 cat (Hera). John loves spending time reading, drawing, going to card shows, spending time with friends, and cheering on his favorite sports team, the Baltimore Ravens.
