The very foundation of Christianity rests on a miracle: The resurrection of Jesus. Without that there is no Christianity. That’s not all; the pages of the Gospels and Book of Acts are filled with miracles. But do they happen today? While a segment of the Church believes that miracles came to an end with the formation of the New Testament (a doctrine called cessationism), and others simply don’t expect or look for them, a growing segment of the worldwide Church not only believes they still happen, but claim they’ve seen them through their ministries. So have millions of ordinary people. If we stepped back and really thought about it, maybe our world is more “enchanted” than we ever imagined.
